1) how does this dye work in the long run? I want to do my carpets. Would if fade over time or is it permanent.

2) they do come in different colors right?

1.) not a clue..lol, the first piece I changed the color of was maybe 7-8 months ago, and it's fine. Carpet was was 4-5 months, but I didn't dye it, which I'm going to do at some point. But all is holding up fine so far.

2.) Yes they do, for the leather dye, there are about 26 different colors just from Infiniti, and they have all kinds of manufacturers.

http://www.leatherworldtech.com/AutoColorChart.aspx

Check some of those out.

On an update for me, I'm now putting the car back together and everything is going in great and looking even better

Finally done and had some time to take pics!

It was snowing a little when I took these, so the white lines in the first 2 are snow flakes

definitely interested in the durability. can you keep us posted on how the material holds up. does the paint scratch off, dye wear or anything like that? Keep us posted if you can.

I will the best I can, Some of the first things I painted have been holding up great for about 7-8 months.
