Fix Disfigured Compartment

Hey guys,

So I noticed that the compartment above the glove compartment in my G sedan is a bit disfigured, maybe because of sun exposure. Is there anyway I can fix it?

I have been trying to find just this part also, and I haven't had any sucess. To buy a new one you must get the whole part that comes with the vents and stuff and it's $100+

Subscribed, in case someone knows of a cheaper fix.

my quick fix was super glue
i didnt even use that much, just a line or two and it held down pretty well. i didnt even take it out, i just lifted it up farther and glued it down. if you want to do it properly, i would take it out first, then glue it, clamp it, bla bla. but mine was not even opening because it was getting stuck so i just wanted a quick fix.
somewhere here there is a DIY on how to take it out

^ Don't worry Josansg35, you don't have to thank me... just hit the thank you button lol

Btw It will take you just as long to dissamble two gs (your and the junk one) as it will to disassemble one and glue it, and that way you know the color will be a perfect match regarding level of fading of the rest of the interior.

Whatever route u decide- good luck
