just got my jdm clock, only the clock, in the mail the other day. was wondering if anyone could help me out on how to have it in there clean and working properly. i cut into the oem bezel to get the jdm clock to fit in there but it doesnt look clean. heard i need the jdm bezel?? where can i find that?? and also it only comes on when my headlights are on... any help?!? tried looking around for stuff on the clock but there isnt too much info. any help or info would be appreciated. thanks in advance!!

 

u might want to pm Tony or Rick at OC Infiniti.. I think they use to sell the JDM clock when they worked at Riverside Infiniti. They might now something..

 

You need this bezel, the Infiniti analog clock bezel will not work (the bezel pictured is damaged and should not have white lines on the face of it).


As far as the wiring, I can't find the wiring diagram I made... and I currently don't have access to my car.

 

zack can ya find the jdm bezel? need to get one...how much do those run? and whenever you get a chance shoot me a pm with the wiring diagram. thanks!!!!

 

Sorry man, I can't get the bezels. In the past I've only been able to get the entire clock/bezel assembly through trade, and Nissan Japan would not sell me the clock or bezel alone. I haven't been able to get any clocks in trade for a couple of years now, so unfortunately I can't help. Your best bet is to see if Rick can order the bezel for you.

stock wiring is on the left and modified on the right...i bought two clocks from tony at riverside back then.

basically you swap the green and white wire...you'll need like a small needle or pin puller to swap them. the yellow wire gets pulled out also but is spliced to the blue wire i believe< this part i am not sure its either splice the yellow to blue or black.....reason is i installed the modified one on my dash already and i forgot which color.

as for rick....i am not bad mouthing anyone but i had a bad experience. wen i had ordered the clocks from tony at riverside i ordered them with the jdm plate cover u want. wen i received the pieces i got the clocks but instead of the plates i got the two covers that surround the whole display. from there i went back and forth with tony trying to get japan to send the right part.......then out of no where tony leaves riverside and they move my problem to rick which they wouldn't even have done if i didn't call back.....so from there we kept going back and forth trying to get my pieces...i let the...so i was like wth who's suppose to get me my jdm plate cover??? all they say is sorry we cant do anything rick left unexpected and anyone he was dealing with on his email we cant assist????

so basically i got f*cked over and stuck with these covers.......but i left it at that so i have no plastic plate covering my upper clock area
