Door trim scratched up

I just bought a 07 Sedan, which I referenced here: https://g35driver.com/forums/buying-...07k-miles.html

The door panels are scratched up by the switches. Do you think I can repaint then or just buy new ones?

Hahhaa! Well mine was like that.

You can take off the door panel, pop off the switch section, and then repaint the plastic piece without the switches. Make sure you clear (top coat paint) it again, otherwise wolverine will return.

Exact same problem here, can you vinyl wrapped this plastic piece, will it stick? I'm thinking some sort of gloss carbon fibre vinyl.

ya you can vinyl wrap it but if youre going for a plain color, its cheaper and easier to paint it

wow! that was worst then mine. What i did to all mine was i pulled all 4 of them off, sanded then down w/ 280 grit sand paper and took it to a paint shop to color matched it to my car. It came out really nice. I did the same thing to the steering wheel.

There's no risk to painting them or wrapping them, may as well try.

I'll just share what i did. I did the same thing to the back seat as well. Everything is matching. Even all my plastic pieces on my headliner are painted.

Painting will be cheaper. Just takes time to sand it down.

I used a paint shop. If you do them all it would be better so everything matches.
