Sorry about focus on back side, but you get the idea. You can sort of see where I peeled off the gobs of glue goo from the previous possessor of the pedal set.

 

Not jealous of anything. I keep my interior factory fresh at all times (infact I recently found new old stock floor mats - fresh af), but I was thinking there was something else going on here. If it's just a refresh, then great, but I feel like it was billed as an upgrade. Trust, I always appreciate proper maintenance.

 

Gotcha. I think the gist of this thread is that he, in part, renovated the interior by repairing his cracked dash and then painted that among other interior parts.

Here's a link to a thread I added to when I, in large part, renovated my interior last year. It's a pretty good diy on leather, vinyl and the so called dye or "paint" that is on our seats from the factory and the method to make repairs, recondition and do color changes. Pretty good if I do say so myself and I just did.

You're welcome. It's a great way to keep the ride out of a shop.
So far, everything looks as it did from day 1 BUT like the leather from 2010 to today (so I've been told) the blue from jeans tends to rub off on the new dye. It comes right off with the right cleaner (to include denatured alcohol) but was not a problem pre-new dye. It always appears on the outside bolster, right on the edge and isn't noticeable until it's time to detail the interior and if you're a pain-in-the-*** sort like I am, and I know you r as well.

Lol, just saw this, but I have no reason or call to post pics, cuz this forum is kinda dunb anymore, but I have literally installed all kinds of new factory interior parts over the last couple years including a shift boot, shift ****, door pulls clock bezel, floor mats, stereo bezel, etc. just so everything looks new. The only imperfections are the seat tear and a scratch on my shifter bezel (which I'm looking to replace now). All panels that come unglued over time (upper glovebox door thing, and perforated panel pieces) were fixed as soon as they failed. No dash cracks, I take all removable parts off when I detail the interior (power button bezels, kick panels, etc.) So that I get underneath them. I even clean my door jambs.

Looks good stingray! Its awesome to see another IP coupe like this because I actually did the same thing a couple years back with Landau Black SEM color coat. Since then, I've added a G37 steering wheel and gauges for my supercharger.
