On a trip recently, I noticed that the compass was a bit off. Pulled out the manual and tried to follow their instructions for “Zone Variation Change Procedure”, ie. press button for 5 seconds-nothing after 5 seconds, and after 10 seconds, reset the display so I had to do the ‘slow turning drive’ thing to get the compass back again.
When I got back to the dealership, I had a peek at the workshop CD. Infiniti forgets to mention in the Owner’s Manual that you need to press the Compass button WHILE you turn on the ignition. Who proofreads these manuals anyway?
