Yes RBull ... there's an approx. 15% in throw reduction as the result of the short moment arm.

Deane,

Yes, I feel that it makes a big difference with regard to shift throw. Clint's THX-SS **** is shorter and less bulky, which I believe adds to shift reliability and quickness.

Andy, can't wait to get it in my hands.

I took my car today over to the place I store it so even if I get it installed this winter I probably won't get to use it until April other than in the stationary car. .
Can't keep the car at home unless either my wife or I decide to park our daily drivers outside double car garage in the cold.

Deane, You are going to love Clint's ****. LMAO . . . Someone had to say it. I feel that this shifter **** is a perfect combination of form and function. Okay, Clint . . . I made up for that other comment.

Man, I definitely do not envy you folks, whom have real winters.

I'm interested in Clint's **** too! (haha, that sounds so wrong)

I think the other GB that Sharif was doing over on my350 is done -- any idea when the next GB will be?

hmm ... seems like there are quite a few interests still. I'm getting some PMs on these as well. If yall like ... someone start another GB (for 15 slots minimum), I'll see about doing another limited production.

These replies reminded me that I haven't posted recently. Just for the record I received mine a while ago and installed it. So far I've gotten a couple of complements regarding the appearance (it does indeed go with the stainless trim very well -- one guy thought it was stock) and it beats the stock **** all to hell. I'm very happy with it. Thanks for making it available, Clint!

As a short review, I have the FI shift ****, and a NISMO short shifter. I have the short shifter on 40% shift height reduction, and with the shift height reduction of the ****, the shifter sits very low, but I like it.

The shifts are crisp, due to the increased weight, and the overall look is very nice.

I would definitely recommend this. One caveat, however; if it sits in the hot sun, it does get very hot, almost too hot to touch. I would still buy it all over again, though!
