Inputs on drilled pedals, plase

I finally placed my order for an '04 6mt Coupe and I'm considering changing pedals. Are they from the Z? How do they work?

Re: Inputs on drilled pedals, plase

they are bad a$$. an instant 15 rwhp! JK.
they are the same as the z pedals, you can go to any nissan dealer and get them just make sure you get the right ones. AT & MT with clutch. they do look nicer, as far from anyone else seeing them or caring about them other than us G owners, i doubt it. if i had never seen the original flyer for the coupe that had the alluminum pedals i probably would of never bought them.

Look at AutoVation pedals @ autovation.net. They have sets for both the 5AT and the 6MT. 2 designs. One says G35, the other has the Mt. Fuji Logo. The 5AT one has a pedal for the E Brake. I have a set on my 6MT. I like the look better than the Nissan one, and not everybody has them. Also the Gas Pedal is bigger for better heal and toeing. I get complements from every one who sees them.

These are my pedals, they are nissan and you can get them from StrictlyZ.com, it does not come with a parking brake piece, that is my own creation.
Limeg35 has a diferent looking set, depending on what you like, both sets look nice, and there is I'm sure more choices out there.

tbusguru
How much did you pay for them , With those you replace the entire pedal or you drilled over the pedal.

there is no drilling to be done with the Nissan pedals, you take the old ones off and replace them, the price was i believe around 70 dollars from Strictlyz.com, the parking brake pedal has a little hole in the middle an I used it to secure my custum pad, the pb pad is not included in the pedal kit, also there is a couple of bushings for the accelerator pad, inquire about it, oher wise its a piece of cake to install.

definitely get the drilled racing pedals. perhaps you can even get the dealer to throw them in for free. they really improve the interior of the car. before i installed them, looking down at the black rubber pedals, it looked really plain and boring.

Re: Inputs on drilled pedals, plase

I recommend getting the pedals. They are about $90 for the 6MT and about 1 hour to install them for a 1st timer. If i had to do it again, it would take me only 10 minutes to do, seriously.
Checkout this pic. It is well worth the money, i wouldnt have it any other way! Got so sick of the black rubber stock pedals.
