Can factory wood trim be removed?

I made the mistake of getting factory wood trim on my g35x sedan. looks cheap and tacky. to top it off, they left the gear shift in aluminum Is it possible to get that factory $%!^ removed and replace it with something nicer looking, perhaps even real wood? And if so, are there any places (or people) in Ny/Nj area that do this? Thanks!

Would you consider selling trading your wood kit if I sent an aluminum kit? The demand has spiked for the wood kits and I don't have enough new cars with it in stock. Thanks.
