Custom Clear Corners

Hey ive been looking around for some sick clear corners lately for my black G35 coupe, but ive only commed accross the Dual LED clear corners (which are way too expensinve, $330) and the JDM clear corners which I feel are just too plain.

Anyone have any ideas?

Pictures would help alot.

Thanks

you can get blacked out corners from ebay (but ive heard horrible fitment stories)

or you can get jdm clear corners, fill the hole, and use a ccfl tube..

^^for something like that search a thread by "yume" - he did this a while back

looks cleaner..

I see.

What type of specific bulb would you people recommend for the clear corners to exactly match the color of the stock 06 projector lights?

No I just anticipated I would buy the Dual LED Clear Corners... but I will not.

Ill just stick to the good o' traditional clear corners.

Im not trying to match the HID's, Im trying to match the (06) projectors

Norcal,

How much did you get em for?

Im in a dilema, Getting either:

1) PIAA Extreme White 168 Wedge Bulb (pair) because they seem easy to install (in other words plug & play)

OR

2) PAIR 194 SUPER HID WHITE 6 LED because they are much better in lighting, but im affraid to get these since im not familiar with circuitry. Not sure if these are plug and play

Will anyone help me by letting me know if these LED's from V-leds.com will work with my 06 G35 coupe without any wiring and circuitry?

Here is the link: www.V-leds.com

Im looking for the 194- 6 LED or 194 High power one.

Sorry for my paranoya!

leds from vleds will work fine. i have them in mine. they project a white color with tint of blue..

if you want pure white i highly suggest the PIAAs

as for norcal_chan96..

i really doubt you put in HIDs in your sidemarkers..maybe HID look-a-likes..

I believe norcal...

Look into v-leds.com -> 194-> 194 High Power -> 2 VELOCITY LEDS HID WHITE HIGH POWER LED BULBS 194

It states its "2 VELOCITY LEDS HID WHITE HIGH POWER LED BULBS 194"

I guess ill go for the 194- 6 LED pair from v-leds.com or the 194 High power pair from v-leds.com

They seem great, and im assuming they are as easy as plug and play installation.

Also,

Will these LED lights conflict with the 06 G35 coupe due to their low power consumption? Ive heard claims about the side markers flashing quicker or the dead bulb signal turning on from the dashboard.

(its kinda odd how these LED's are 12v, yet the PIAA ones are 5v. I hope that also isnt a problem)

they are HID WHITE..meaning they are meant to mimic the white color of HIDs

LEDs are not HIDs.........

im just trying to clear up the fact that youre not going to be buying HIDs..

LEDs may flash quicker if you use them for your turn signal..

but unless you have the sidemarker turn signal mod you shouldnt have a problem..
