Switch 03-04 headlights w/ 05-06

Can I directly swap out my 03 headlights with a pair of 05-06??

I want to swap out my 03 lights that look like this

with a pair of complete 05 headlights which look like this

I think only the 06's have projectors.

...and yes you can swap out to the 06 headlights.

I think 05's have projecters as well...

06 has projectors, 05 doesn't... I have an 05 and just switched out to 06 projectors - so much better!

only 06 coupes have projectors and yes you can just swap em out

you just have to get different bulbs for the projectors

Projectors use D2S bulbs and standard reflectors use D2R. They are similar but not the same.

You can modify the base of your D2R bulbs to fit but since they have the ceramic coating on part of them they will not be as bright.
