Thats looks sick but it looks kinda purple or is just the pics that makes it look like that instead of blue?

I think I would've like it more if it was more white compared to blue. Maybe switch the colors. Just my 2 cents.

so since LEDS have com a long way since this was started does anyone know which ones to buy for the combination meter? This img from the helms I have shows how many bulbs but not what kind,


either a phillips twist base

search my name i did a diy on removing the cluster, i used twist base bulbs and sanded the color off the back of the gauge face..

amazing i wish i could learn how to change the lame orange lighting in my car to blue or something custom. Help a newbie out i've had my g35 for 3 days.

There used to be a DIY and tons of pics a long time ago - he basically took apart the guage cluster and took a paperclip to carefully scrape off the orange film from the back of the gauge face, much like djbrandonr did. Then they went ahead and wired in more LEDs to eliminate the hot spots.
