Sounds like there are many people out there that hate the orange dash as much as I did! Do we need to have a norcal conversion meet?

Good job, looks awesome! What type of LED's where the SMTs? 0805?

Great job on the conversion!! I really dig the blue color.

Yes, please set up a norcal conversion meet. Surely many of us will appreciate your expertise.

how do i change a/c display color??

i got all the bulbs out and will change but how do you do the color on the display of the air and temp in the middle top of your dash? i got it apart but the color is all digital with no bulbs and its green. i want it to be bright white. thanx!

^Unfortunately, there is no way to make the ac lcd white. The lcds actual color is turquoise which means you do not have the possibility of making this white (with any kind of tint). I used some "lighting gel" (High temp stage light tint) and a piece of plexi glass to make a new overlay for the lcd. The orange (oem) one cannot be used unless you are going to make it red. If thats the case you can just stick the red film right over the top of the oem orange overlay and you should get red! You can find any color your looking for here. I used Tokyo blue. It is also important to make the overlay concave to minimize reflection. otherwise you will get the sun reflecting straight off the lcd from many angles.

Thanks for information. My only question i have is how the heck to you re sauder the LEDs on the A/C board, i know they are 3mm surface mount LEDs but they are so freakin tiny!! whats the trick or secret? any one have information???
