I'd love to just have the cluster in white, leave the rest orange even, just get some nice contrast in there. Looks like a full conversion would be painful, but a brief writeup for the easier parts would be awesome.

Interested in doing this for others that would pay you? I'd be willing to drive to where you are and paying you cash for this type of work.
PM me please.

Damn dude. You really do good work with interior lights. If I still lived in California I would be knocking at your door right now for you to do mine. As always man, very good looking interior lights. If for some reason in your lifetime you happen to be in my neighborhood; make sure you have your tools because there's one guy here who wouldn't mind your work being done on his car....hahahhahhaaa

Thanks for all the comments. I am currently working on getting something setup to start doing this for people. Sorry for not getting this done sooner guys!

Here is an update of the interior with the carputer setup:

hey guys, i was searching for info on the dash lights and came across deftronix's thread here. i have an 05 FX45 and was looking to switch out the orange to blue.

does anyone know what size the smd leds are on the HVAC/radio controls? i'm guessing either 0603s or 0805s, but, i can't get a definitive answer from any of the service people at infiiniti. if i absolutely had to, i could tear everything apart to check it out, but, i'm just trying to avoid 1. the time involved. 2. handling the board multiple times.

any help/direction/advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

thanks in advance,
ron - from infinitifx.org and infinitiscene.com

p.s. - all of your rides are sick. i spent some time looking at some of the pics and was really impressed with what a good amount of you have done.

can you post a link to one of the Accord auctions with the chrome rings? I found some of the overlay kits but none with rings.

Helluva great job on the cockhouse relumination. Damned sweet.

I'm in on this! Again as I mentioned above. I would drive to you. Pay 50% cash up front to begin work. Leave the car with you for however long you needed it, then once you say it's complete. I'd pick the car back up and pay the other 50%. Cash of course. Keep us updated!
