Is it possible to remove the 6 or so rectangle pattern of LEDs in the taillights of an 03-05 coupe, while leaving just the circle pattern LEDs?

 

yes it is, but it's going to take quite a bit of effort to take the taillights apart without damaging them, and on top of that it's going to look awkward with a bunch holes but no lights ...

 

do you just wanna disable the square pattern?? if so all u have to do is remove the tail lights and unplug the wire for the square. i believe prelude555 did have a write up something close to that. ill look for the thread. but if you just want the circle leds on all u have to do is remove a plug.

 

i did this a while back when i had my coupe, pretty simple .
remove the tailight and unplug the wire. search my sn, i believe i made a write-up on it.
