PIAA 192/168 license plate bulb problem

I just installed these in my 04 sedan g35x. The sedan only has 1 bulb and it I thought it would shine good on the license plate, but it seems like it only really shines in the middle and it points to the ground. Its PIAA #19263, white led. Anything to cure this or is it because i only have 1 bulb in the center? I dont remember if my stock bulb did this or it shined more everywhere.

weird, the 06's have two license plate bulbs. I think the PIAA bulb is only forward firing. If you got the 5 leds or smt or high power bulbs (194) from vleds, they shoot out dispersed light.

I don't know that you can return them, but yes you should try a more normal bulb, or at least a LED bulb with LEDs all the way around so it disperses light better. I have the "wedge matrix" ones from Autolumination.com and they light up the plate okay for only one damn light bulb.

http://autolumination.com/194.htm Scroll down, 5th ones from the top.

Don't have that problem....need to do some homework first. You'll need an LED light that has 5 "multidirectional" LED's within it as mentioned above...four of them shine out in 4 quadrants/sides & the 5th one emits straight out like a normal bulb. (that's what I have)

I hope for your sake the ones from superbrightleds have been designed better than previous; I bought a set for my FX and they lasted less than a month before flickering. About 10 of us on InfinitiFX.org had the same problems, so thats when we switched to the Autolumination.com ones and had no problems. I've had mine for about 9 months with no flickering, no leds out. That's why I suggested the ones from Autolumination.com. Good luck.

lol dam i hope im not in that position. i didnt want to get autolumination because they were farther away from me and it said 1-2 weeks for regular mail and then they charged more for priority. I also didnt know if there super white was like the cool white at superbrightleds, since they have warm white and cool white. Oh well, I only got 1 since i only have 1 bulb.
