Smile My Quad Projector Retrofit

Finally getting around to posting some pictures of the quad projector retrofit I finished last week. First time doing a projector retro, so nothing special compared to the many retro's on the forum, but just thought I'd share.

I decided to go with gloss black rather than flat black like I had before. Looks much better IMO. I used G35 projectors with FX lenses in the projectors and G35 lens in the blinkers. Ballast are mounted inside of headlight housing.

Now for the pics:

looks great, i thought FX lenses were fresnel? why didn't you use a lens that was clear? either way, it looks like you got a nice clean cut-off though

dangit, you beat me to it! Using a second g35 shroud in the bottom for quad projectors! Looks great, although the all black blends them in too much IMO, you want to show off that work you've done! From your cutoff pics, the rotation and horizontal alignment is quite off. The driver's side cutoffs are rotatedcounter clockwise, and pointed too far to the left. This will become more of a problem at further distances

Where did you get those shrouds? Salvaged another set of g35 headlights?

Awesome work. Quad projectors look hot. Definitely like the glossy black or the matte black.

The mounting job is great at the bottom. Good use of the stock shrouds. Didn't particularly care for the new black though.

Good job!
