Thumbs down Do Not Install: V-leds Hid White 18 Smt

Curious how well these would work on our rides! Anyone have any pics?

HELP! These ****ing lights have now disabled my use of high beams. Also, now the driver's side fog light is dim. Possible blown fuse? Relay? Someone please chime in and let me know which fuse/relay to change!

UPDATE: All fixed, these LEDs blew a fuse behind the battery. What a pain. DO NOT buy these.

Haven't tried those, but they've got some other H4 bulbs too I was considering... very tempting - my Sylvania Silverstar Ultras SUCK. I wish I had my money back.

There is no way that would function well as a fog light. 99.9% of all the LED's out there will not work as a headlight/foglight without major research going into them first. You would need an array of about 10-15 3-5W luxeons to get close to the light output of a standard h4 foglight. Those LED's are NOT high power LED's.

You're probably right... I don't hardly ever use my fogs at all though since they look yellow and ugly... but then again they're my high beams, too, so not sure if I'd want to compromise that

Yep, even says they are for looks. But I'm really just going for the look anyway. I'd like to see them match the LEDs in my clearance lights.

Sounds good to me! If as high beams they are non-functional I'd be hesitant to get them... although 99% of the time I leave my fogs off - If they looked nice they'd be on alllll the time.

I can tell you now I'm almost 100% positive high beams are non functional. I bought the last set that had the single LED at the end of the light. They did not work because of the way out headlights are set up. The LED's light didnt reflect on anything. You couldnt even tell they were on. But I'll keep you updated with these. I bought a pair tonight.

LOL, seriously bro?

Now you're freaking out about high beams being disabled?
Soooo, you're telling me I shouldn't go with these fog lights?

Anyhow, if you figure out the dimming issue, let me know how they look when they both work!

haha, no man... I mean I took them out and now the stock lights dont function properly! I took the LED H4s out and put the regular bulbs in and now its all kinds of jacked up. If they worked properly, I'd be a happy camper even if it meant giving up the hi beams... but they seem to have burned up something! Hell, the lights themselves dont even work anymore. They turned on for a second and then never came back on. So the LED H4s are broken and so is the function of my fog lights/high beams. So, no! Don't get 'em!

edit: my luck sucks.. glad you didnt put them in though. or maybe I would be glad if you did so you could warn me.

Oh, wow... that's Whack with a capital "W"... Do your high beams work with the regular bulbs or no? If not, jeez that's messed up.
