using your everyday 5 pin relay. 86 to the headlight low beam power. 85 to ground. 87a to the LED strip 30 to the positive power from a ignition triggered positive or another relay using said positive connected to 86. tape off the 87.

This way, DRL will run only when headlights are not trigged. Once triggered the power is cutoff from the DRL automatically.

they look good, however, tossing a strip of LED's from Ebay on you bumper is 100% aesthetic and has nearly no function. The stock Audi LED 'fog' lights are high power LED's placed in a reflector that aims the light output at a certain angle, enabling them to be somewhat functional as fog light. As far as paying $400 for them, it's fairly reasonable if you ask me. If you were to put all the time and money into making your own functional set, you'd end up spending just as much given the amount of time it would take to make them. You're going to start seeing them popping up everywhere like the angels eyes did from BMW, unfortunately. This is how we go from 'nice' to 'rice'.

 

I still don't like the idea of taking an Audi design and using it on a G35.

What would we say if people on an A4 forum were taking the lights off of the R35 GTR and sticking them on there audi?

 

been talked about but serious design needs to be incorporated. not just peel and stick.
