Difference between 2003-2005 vs 2006 headlights
its pricey but nothing else like it!!
I bought a pair of recalled headlights yesterday. 299 shipped off of ebay.
"These headlights are at least $1000 at the dealership. I can take off the ballasts and igniters, mount em on 07-08 Acura MDX headlights and sell each for at least 450.00, or mount them on 07-08 G35 or M35/45 and sell each for 400.00 . These lights go for 4-500 a pair on ebay w/o the HID components."
I offered him $300 without ballasts; I thought that was fair but he didn't.

cus when i had projectors on my mini cooper.. i couldn't see much on the road, but then i got another mini cooper with xenons, and it was very nice on the road.

im really confuse now..Im trying to upgrade my 03 headlights to a projector. DO I NEED TO MODIFY anything? and I want to change my bulb to 8K HID.do i have to do something? coz i think 03 bulb is different from 06 HID? pls answers me before i commit any mistakes.. thanks...
I'm in the same boat - the later model projector assembly will use your old ballasts but require the use of the different D2S HID bulb. A lot of sellers will include bulbs with the headlight assemblies but usually no ballasts.
I'm a newbie here too but maybe someone can confirm?

the factory 4300k bulbs are the brightest available. anything else higher in kelvin is poop (but looks pretty, so its pretty poop). :-)
