IvoryGT,
I have an 04 coupe with the 06 projector housing. I've been using the 8000k D2C bulbs (fits both D2R and D2S housing) for about a year and a half. the driver side bulb just burn out yesterday. I am thinking getting a pair of the D2S bulbs. would they fit my 04 coupe?
If they do, where would you recommend to purchase them?

factory is 4200K. It wont be cheaper to go OEM because they last way longer.

I don't sell the bulbs above 5000K for various reasons, if you must, try looking up the Philips 6000K ultinons around the web.

thanks for you your help! Im gonna go ahead and buy the Philips 6000K ultinons. just one last questions. when I bought the 06 headlight, it was just the housing. I got the D2C bulbs because it fits my 04's harness. my question is, Is the D2S bulbs drop in plug n play? or only the D2R will fit my harness?
thanks a million.

D2S is for projectors only. so it will fit. If you had D2R bulbs it wouldnt work.

you have the projector lights so the notch is for D2S. the older lights that came stock on 04 has D2R notches. the D2C you had allowed the interchange.

They were recalled for glare, I bought a pair that had the exact reason why they needed to be recalled.
