Difference between 2003-2005 vs 2006 headlights

I understand there pojectors, but is there any other difference. So all that means is that the HID will project instead of a straight line. There's no other difference? If so, please explain. Curious to know.

the way they are designed is different....D2R has a strip on it where the D2S does not.

Ok thanks fellas... what about pricing on them? I just ordered some 06 lights, and I got them so cheap that I don't think theyre gonna come with bulbs. The lady doesnt know much about them but says they dont come with ballasts and thats all. Just preparing myself.
