You and me both brother...I have spent an exorbitant amount in the last couple weeks on detailing products/little mods/maintenance and etc all in preparation for summer. I cannot wait until this week is over so I can finally get down to some quality time spent fiddling with every part on my car.

Also, I'm fairly certain you will absolutely crush my delivery estimates as UPS is saying next Monday...I guess you'll be the one showin off the fancy new lights well before me.

hehe yea summer has started for me ;P where did you find your estimate? just on the website after you log in? I hope I'm not too lazy and get my friend to help me install the lights as soon as they arrive :P My sways are in the mail and I'm going to have to wait days or weeks to install them since no one here has offered to help on the days I can get the lift available

If you picked UPS as your shipping option, which I always do as I love UPS...
UPS themselves will email you a Ship Notification with the Tracking Number not the V-led site, and the date will be on the usual UPS tracking site.

Your order will probably bill tomorrow and ship Wednesday at the latest.
I got my email from UPS around 6pm, EST saying billing info received, but probably wont go out until tomorrow.
So like 3pm for you since you ordered today would be my guess as I ordered last night and they got it done by today. They work quickly, I can say that.

The lights are a light duty job. It will probably take all of 10 minutes to do my plates, interior, doors and sidemarkers. Then probably around 30-45 to get the city lights in carefully with the jacks and everything, not too bad I think.
You can easily handle it yourself, plus who doesn't love a little 'wrench' time with their G?
They sways would probably be more fun with a friend and some jacks/lift.
I'm hopefully gonna grab a Motordyne 5/16" spacer sometime this summer and have some fun with that...luckily I have a good friend in Cleveland with a full service garage and lift that I can sneak my way into and use all his stuff, when I have actual mods coming in.

lucky.. I didn't select UPS though i hit other i went the cheap route.. they are going to take weeks to ship huh? i have already replaced all my lights with leds except the headlight driving lights and i didnt want to do the trunk or license plate light.. my driveway is really slanted and my garage is small so i like doing things at my friends house as its easier to jack up the car... Ill probably get my leds in the day they come if my friend isnt busy.

^haha, I doubt it, it will probably still ship within 24 hours...and get to you before mine
I just like UPS tracking and the fact that I have never had a problem with them. I order tons of stuff online and they are the one company that is always fast, super detailed in tracking, and reliable. So far batting a thousand with my experiences, so I stick with them when given the option.

Plus, and yes this is a non-sequitur, I'm Indian and my buddies in undergrad gave me the nickname 'Brown'. They were a clever group, I know. So always wanted a shirt with the UPS motto "What can Brown do for you?" and I failed at finding one until this Christmas when my best friend somehow found one for me...so now I wear it around when I feel like being helpful to others...haha, I know I'm an idiot.

wow what a coincidence im impatiently waiting for my LED's to come in. ordered my sets last wednesday and went with the none UPS shipping =( im pretty excited after reading this thread and I too am going to dread putting in the city lights. im pretty clumzy when it comes to small objects like LED's/screws/bolts etc.

I have one question though about the pics that Bluedevilbamf posted up. Is it just me or do the LED's look whiter/bluer than the OEM HID's? b/c from his pics they look very very white and when looking at my HID's they look white with a yellowish tint to them. Anyone else feel the same way? i hope i wont have to upgrade to a 5000k bulb in order to match the LED's

Just keep track of what you are taking out from where. I like to lay out a piece of paper and label/draw where things came from if it's complicated. Or if it's a bunch of the same, well just put em in a bowl and grab one when you need to put it back.
For this project, there will be clips, screws, and 10mm bolts I believe, so just do your best to keep track. Otherwise, just more opportunity to get familiar with your car.

Oh absolutely, the amount they charge for shipping something that weighs under a pound is ree-danky-diculuos...but what can you do? Sometimes you luck out and find free shipping, other times it ganks you right in the ***.
Hope you used the CLUBLEX 10% off code...it was 15% a few weeks ago, but it dropped back down to 10.

For this project, just 3 clips and one small screw (top of the wheel well). For this screw, I used my Swiss army knife's Phillips head screw driver, because other screw driver's are too long to fit at the right angle between the wheel and the screw.

Also, 05G356MT, even though these are "high power white" they do have a slight blue hue. It is a bit more blue than the stock projector. Upgrading to a more blue projector bulb is a good idea, but keep in mind changing the projector bulbs is a whole other beast (bumper removal required).

Next time I have my bumper being taken off I plan on having new fogs and projector HIDs all set to go!

got them in today! installed side markers, license plate, courtesy, dome, trunk lights today didnt have too much time today so didnt get to put in the city lights. These things are really bright! Install was less than 10 min just looked at the manual to see how things were done.

only problem now is that the HIDs look yellow im thinkin in order to match with the LEDs im gonna need a pair of 6000k? anyone else think so?

Congrats!

IMO, I don't like higher Kelvin temp lighting, as the actual output drops. Although 6000K is the least output drop compared to 8k, 10k, and the ever ridiculous 12k...it's up to you.
I don't think it will bother me much, but you never know I guess. But take some pictures and post em up.
