or something with more smt bulbs would work and be brighter.. you need ones shaped like that though

ahhh sorry didnt know what festoons were.
question though. on the sylvannia guide and on a sticky in here it says
step/courtesy lights are DE3022 (not sure what this means except obviously shape/style)
but the link you posted has
SUPER WHITE 9 LED DOME LIGHT BULB 212 211 212-2 214-2 578
shouldnt these numbers match?
i found the license plate light mentioned here
HID WHITE HIGH POWER LICENSE PLATE LED BULB 194 168 158
the 194/168 matches the guide.
see my confusion? =)
i just want super bright, i guess SMT cool white leds for
under door(courtesy lights)
dome/map
and license plate.

the interior and door lights are Festoon based, ie look like they have cones on either side of the bulb
Ie, they look like this bulb, but use SMT LEDs (the yellow plates) instead of LED bulbs.
Should be under code DE3175-3175, but are out of stock or something because I haven't seen the bulbs I used for a while now.

hey guys. wondering if these "flank" leds were better for the license plate lights or if the regular ones are better
Flank

Normal like the VLED on that was linked.

My only advice is stick with a reputable company such as Vleds.com. I have heard many horror stories of LEDs from Ebay that only last a matter of days before dying. All my LEDs are from Vleds and no problems yet. Just my 2 cents.
