I haven't compared to Ultinons myself, however, people that have seen these on my car say they are similar in color the 6000k Ultinons.

I'm not really sure how you concluded that those are brighter than the OEM bulbs when clearly from your own comparison pics such as this one

you can see that the OEM bulb illuminated more area than your new bulb. The light output on the OEM bulb extends ~2-3" below the 6k bulb and has a larger overall radius of coverage. What you are seeing as "brighter" is the added contrast that tricks many people into believing they have better output like when people who use coated halogen bulbs claim better output. Color looks decent though, I just don't believe your other claims.

Why? because he's promoting the product for the company. and saying how great it is when he hasn't run it for a year and see if it even lasts.

I am in no way "promoting" the product for the company for my benefit. I purchased the bulbs for $55 just $3 less than the current price ($58) so I have no personal benefit to falsely state any review of the product. My receipt is posted as an attachment.

Okay... I guess I'm promoting a companies product because A -- Excellent Product, and B -- Excellent Service.

I definitely see what you are saying... Maybe it is a visualization. I definitely undersand the light spectrum and am well aware that 4300s are technically "brighter" than 6000s. All I was trying to say is that my "butt dyno" (for lack of better words... Lol) tells me my nighttime visibility has improved in normal driving conditions.

But yes.. You are right. An upgrade to 6000k over 4300k typically does produce less visibility. Good thing is that it isn't noticable at all on the road.

You can easily notice a difference between 6000K and 4300K when in serious fog conditions. The 4300K will penetrate much better, whereas the 6000K will almost reflect back

Ahh.. Ok. Makes sense. I guess that's why alot of people use the 3000ks for fogs. More fog penetrations.

Thanks for the information.
