6000k HID Upgrade from EliteEV -- Absolutely Stunning!

As I’ve mentioned in other threads, I have been working with a company, EliteEV, to bring HID Upgrades to our forums. Special Thanks for EliteEV for working with me on this and the excellent customer service and quick replies.

Here’s my thoughts on the bulbs from EliteEV and the install: <O</OBulbs shown are 6000k, however, other bulb temperatures are available if so desired. Currently the price is set at $58 for the pair.

Packaging from EliteEV: Bulbs were shipped with care and protection in mind. The bulbs are encapsulated in a plastic casing in a box together. This small box that the bulbs were in were packed well another box (the USPS Priority box) surrounded by bubble wrap.

Here’s a pic of the actual bulbs compares to OEM HID bulb (OEM on left, 6000k on right):

Color: The color of the bulbs is PERFECT. They are a very clear and bright white with a slight hint of blue. While 4300k (OEM) is supposed to be most likely sunlight, the 6000k upgrade give you a much brighter and cleaner view of the road.<O</O

Here’s a few COMPARISON pics of one OEM 4300k (left) and one EliteEV 6000k (right):<O</O

Driving: As previously mentioned these bulbs light up the road much better than the OEMs. I do not see any loss of visibility with the bulbs at all. If anything, I think I can see more with the EliteEV 6000ks installed.

For those of you looking to upgrade your OEM HID bulbs, I strongly recommend these. As EliteEV is just bring these bulbs to market, the introductory price has been set to an incredible $58!!! The manufacturer's MSRP is $120. Shipping is currently showing as $20 on the site, however, I’m checking with EliteEV to see if this is correct.<O</O

I bought two pairs of these bulbs on eBay for $33 & $40 shipped (several months ago). Great bulbs so far, I agree... very nice and definitely worth the money.

Yes... You would need D2S bulbs for 06 Projector housings.

I see all of you that responded have a 06 or newer. I have a 04, so will this work for me too? I won't mind getting a pair or two since they look good on here.

Are they DOT legal? The picture shows on the site with wire harnesses. I have 03/04 sedan HID headlights. I just need the bulbs, correct? Which is the D2R bulbs... what is with the wiring?

So in other words, I need the D2R. It would come with JUST the bulb correct?

You only need the bulbs. In your case, D2R.

These are 100% DOT legal. When you order you will only receive the bulbs. Wiring harnesses are only included in a full conversion kit with ballasts.

For 03/04 Sedan HIDs you will nee D2R bulbs.

Just an FYI... I hope to have a conversion kit for the fogs installed soon as well. I'm working with EliteEV on these as well. I will do a similar review as I have here.

Thanks to everyone for their interest... I'm sure EliteEV will be very happy to see these orders.

Have you compared them to the Philips Ultinons 6000k's? How similar are they to them?? These seem like a GREAT alternative to the Ultinons, mainly because of price!
