if you have a 06+ h1 bulb will fit on the FOGs
In regards to headlights the PHILIPS is pretty good. Some of the guys here also uses MTEC and has good reviews

His camera truly amplified the brightness of the LEDs. I bought Jay.Diems' lights and they aren't bright at all. Color match is nice, but they aren't bright and no way looks like the photos. When the projectors are on you cannot even see that the city lights are on, they look off. I was kinda disappointed. Spent forever putting these end and wasn't quite what i expected. I don't blame anyone, they just aren't very bright at all.

Great post! I was just surfing the vleds website and wondered about the smt maplights...Good to know they're bright!

By the way was it hard to install the map lights. Any tips of making it faster and easier to do?

I have the Polarg 6K LEDs from Jay.Diem. With the projector on they are super faint that when you look at the lights it only looks like the projectors are on. At least with my old halogens I could see the city lights shining up the inside of the housing, now nothing. Only with the projectors off can you see. Its pretty sad for the amount of time it took me to put these bad boys in. I'll try to take a pic and post.

I made my VLED purchase a few minutes ago.

AMBER 11 SMT 194 168 158 - for the front corners
HID WHITE HIGH POWER 194 168 158 - for the license plate
WHITE MSMT 6 LED 3022 DE3175 - for the front doors
SMT WHITE WEDGE BASE LED 37 74 - for the glove box
M-SMT 16 LED 3022 DE3175 - for the dome/map and above rear doors
HID WHITE 4 LED WEDGE BASE 194 158 168 - for the trunk

I was worried about using the m-smt 16's in the doors due the the tight fittiment problems I read of. Kind of chaps my a** though because they are only $1 more than the m-smt 6's that I bought. I'll take some pictures when I get them installed.

Do any of these led's have built in resisters? If they don't, they will not last very long.

One way to make them last a little longer is to make sure your lights are off when you crank the car. For all you guys with inside led's make sure your doors are closed. Trust me.

Yes, most of the vled bulbs have resistors built into the board itself.

How bright is too bright. Is there a point where we have too many interior LED"s and people need to shield their eyes when they get in my car?

I have white LED's but i want brighter, but i'm afraid to go to the MAX for fear of making the interior too bright. I just want accent lighting, not enough lighting to light up a baseball field.

I emailed v-leds.com and asked if they had built in resistors, here is their reply:

"Yes the LEDs are made to take 14.5v some use resistors some use IC
controller."

What bulbs do you have currently?

I was worried about going too bright too. The way I see it
the bulbs are realatively cheap and easy to install. If you
buy a few and don't like them, it won't be a complete disaster.
Also i'm sure they wouldn't sell anything too rediculous in festoon.

I have the 9-LED festoon bulbs from www.superbrightleds.com

They are nice, but there is a slight blue i want to ditch. I know SMT's are as close to pure white as you can get. I want to swap over to them, but unsure just how many SMT's per LED i sshould go.

I gues i could always sell off what i dont use. I'm sure i'd find buyers
