Instead of rice, use the word "tacky"

So are blue LED's tacky? Kinda.

It just so happens the stereotypical ricer does a butt-load of tacky mods like stickers, 5 spoilers, stuff that really stands out and looks bad.

So instead of calling a mod rice, i try to call it tacky.

Clear corners would look nice, but i wouldn't use blue LED's. That reminds me of this civic once that i saw with clear tails and GREEN brake and stop lights

This is EXACTLY why I asked what car he drove before. It seems now, maybe because used G prices are dropping, we're getting a lot more guys coming from Civics and Integras, etc. But their not wanting to leave the Honda Mod mentality behind.

Just my observation. And you're right, RICE = TACKY.

I agree. I've been seeing this a lot in my area. Usually it's G35 coupes that appear to be owned by ex civic owners, but i have seen a few tacky-looking sedans driving around.

I realize it's their car and they can mod how they see fit, but I am allowed to have an opinion about their choices...after all, we mod visually so other people can see our cars right? So we gotta be able to take negative as well as positive criticism.

Ya it is a peice of trim cause i got my car with 17K miles from a previous New Yorker... they put that crap on there so you could keep replacing the trim instead of the bumpers, my G is an 06... and the rain guards im leaving on.. im a smoker so in the rain its a must... as far as my previous car.. was a 2001 Chevy Tahoe with Veloche Villano 22"s... i wasnt a previous owner of a civic.. and the tahoe was $13k more than the G... so no i didn't have any previous RICERS.. thanks for the concern

Half the people on this forum are so closed minded. You call anything you don't like RICE. Dude, if you like blue LED's inside the clear corners go for it. Remember, its illegal to have blue/red lights on your car though as these are reserved for police.

Personal style is not RICE just because you dont like it.

I have Luminic's 2500K yellow fog light bulbs, but i haven't put them in yet. Unsure if i want to go white or yellow.

I read the Luminics were higher wattage bulbs so i don't want to put them in just yet.

I don't even want to test them because if i go another route i want to sell these unopened and get my $$ back

I also got all my interior LED's from superbrightleds. I had to make another order for license plate bulbs however. The White LED's kinda look a little blue since they are near 8K. I don't want to attract attention from the cops, so i ordered some more whites in their "cool while, natural white and warm white" colors to see which is really the most white.

I'm trying to match my girlfriend's IS250 which has PURE white plate LED's that look great. Mine look blueish compared.
