Clearing Turn Signals

I'm planning on using Papa's DIY guide to get my headlights painted but I also want to clear the turn signal while I'm at it.

As of now, I'm still not sure exactly how this is done. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you basically have to dremel off the orange casing and then replace it with a clear casing? Where would one obtain such a clear casing or do you have to make them yourselves somehow...?

Any help would be greatly appreciated by those who have experience in this!

Or you can help out if you're in SoCal and don't mind!

Did you read in the FAQ thread? I believe this is all discussed.

Most people use fluorescent light cover and cut a circle out. It's a PITA.

I went to Lowes... when to the fluorescent lighting section... there's a gigantic sheet of plastic fluorescent cover for about $7.

If you want a set that's already done with a clear reflector let me know. I'm in 310 area.

Sorry about that, I honestly did spend quite some time trying to search for this but the only relevant hit I got within 5 pages was the DIY thread for painting the headlights...even after several word combinations.

Must not be that great at searching or something... =/

Thanks for the replies though!
