Need Info on 03 to 06 headlight conversion.

Well. this is how it goes.. someone hit my fender which broke my headlight tabs..

insurance is giving me another set of headlights but body shop say that if they get me 06 headlights, there wont be any wiring harness.

my 03 headlights are fine just broken tab on one side. hes willing to get me new ones but he say that there is a wiring harness issue between 03 and 06.

i searched and im still confused.

is it direct swap? from 03 to 06?
the 06 headlights, i can request him to purchase it new with no ballast and bulb tho.

i dont know if he is bull****tin me or not.

Everything is the same... minus the actual housings and bulbs... I plugged mine right in with no problems as long as you have your ballasts you're good to go.

If you order from Riverside Infiniti, you'll get everything you need providing you already have your ballasts.

Pottmilk....any relation to Harvey Milk?

PottmilkZ....you can order the '06 headlights with or with out bulbs but why would you want to? If you have the ballists just plug them in your back on the street. Regardless of what the bodyshop monkey says the wiring is the same. If you have any doubts give Tony a call at Riverside Infiniti 1-800-919-8130. He's the head parts guy and knows every damn thing....

That's a really good deal, jump on it! Chances of finding a better price on '06 headlight will never come again....

Might be the recalled ones. I'd be a little careful, unless you don't mind blinding other drivers. :P

I believe they can be adjusted to be slightly lower. They're mentioned all over the forums (search function), since a lot of people bought the recalled ones for cheap after the 06 Coupes went in for free exchange from the dealers.

At least from my experience on a 330ci, the projector headlights usually have little **** on them to adjust projection height and cutoff area.
