whats the best way to access my turn signal lights inside my headlamps?
I am having such a hard time accessing that bulb! I need to change it out. I jacked my car up, remove the front wheel and fender lining, and yet i have no idea how to get that bulb out. Can someone please help. The car is an 04 coupe. Sigh.
No need to start posting the same question in multiple threads.
After removing the wheel/fender liner, you have to just reach behind the headlight. The turn signal bulbs are located on the inner part of the headlight. If I remember correctly, there are two tabs, one on the top, one on the bottom. It may be left/right. You just twist the tab and you are able to pull the connector out of the housing. Once out, take the bulb off. Put your new bulbs on the connector and put the connector back in the housing. Turn tab to lock the connector in place.
When you put back your bulb on the connector, make sure you push them in enough to hear a click. If not, they can fall out and fall into your headlight housing.

+1....
I have never changed bulbs by leaving the headlights in. Its actually not that much work to remove the headlights.
The only thing about removing the headlights is that its a bit more work trying to re-align them, especially if you have the projectors.

I'm a sedan... but, I was able to just reach my bulb from opening my hood and reaching around.
Maybe I can take a look the next time I see you. What are you looking to do? Change out your turn signals or your clearance lights?

Even on a coupe you can very easily reach from the engine compartment and get access to the signal bulbs. If you have an aftermarket intake, it'll be even easier. Takes about 5 minutes.
