05 OEM low beam light turns to different color?

Hey everyone. I recently notice my OEM low beam light is turning to different color instead of White. Passenger side is still White but Driver side is light purple now. Is it burning out? and if I have to change new headlight bulbs, which one do I get between these 2: H1 or D2R? Im not sure which one Im using right now since this is the first time I get to work with the headlights. Thanks.

HID's do shift to a higher color temperature as they age. Turning purple is probably a sign they are on their last leg.

These are relatively easy to change out yourself. I'd buy one now and have it when it goes. Lots of options on Amazon or Google D2R bulbs.

Thanks for your responses guys. I'll try to get a spare set ASAP. Do you have any suggestions on where should I get a set from? I found some good deals on Ebay but I dont trust Ebay much. So let me know what you guys think about bulbs on Ebay, if they are not good, then what is your suggestion?

I am going to buy PIAA bulbs off of Amazon.com for my fog/high beams (H4). They are a great quality bulb, and won't fry your wiring like some of the cheap bulbs out there. IMHO they're definitely worth the money.
