Error on Sylvania Lamp Replacement Guide
I painted my headlights this past weekend, and removed all the bulbs when I baked them. While I was re-assembling them before re-installing, I dropped one of the turn signal bulbs. So I put it back together and bought a replacement the next day. Per Sylvania's website, and several references on here including the Sticky, I bought a 2-pack of 7440's.
But, this is not the correct bulb! At least not for a 2005 Sedan. The 7440 is a single filament but the broken bulb was a dual filament. I found the broken piece of glass that had the bulb type on it and it said 7443. The 7440 will not work. I put it in and it doesn't light up either with the headlights or when the turn signal is activated.
I don't mind too much the $7 it cost, but it's such a pain in the **** to get to it to replace!
