yeh i know the pic quality wasnt good. i really couldnt get any better pics because with the flash on the pics ca,e out like it was during the day, and no flash came out like how you see them soo ill work on better pics..

Hard to tell in the pictures how it looks. Any install info would be great I need more light in my car. Cops in my town hunt down tinted windows, and stock stereo doesn't put out enough light, at least until I get the double din!

I did this mod recently. I used a prewired yellow 3mm led from oznium http://www.oznium.com/prewired-leds The yellow is a better match than the amber, I had both.

It's attached to the back of my mirror with a plastic wire clip from heyco

The 3mm clicks into the clip perfectly around the heatshrink tubing, its wired like the invisicord with computer pin connectors from radioshack

good find.. i used super bright led from pep boys, red is the color i used.. i will look for the package and tell more info plus install help ..sorry for the delay

its actually not "hanging" from the rear view mirror, i drilled a hole in the liner, and plugged it in, and shines down over the shifter..

yeah, the g37's have it. it is much more subtle than the diy shown above. it casts a faint white/violet glow on the center console/shifter area.
