i have been looking for about an hour to see if i can find a DIY on how to put in the LEDs into the clearance strip of the headlights and it seems that it doesnt exist. but if anyone can explain to me how its done or have close up pictures of wats actually holding the LEDs in place that would be a lot of help..

thanks in advance

Easy to work with. You have to open them up, get to the 12v source that is in the clearence strip. Take the bulb, pull the two wires out. That will be a constant 12v source to connect as many leds as you want. I connect mine in 3's with one resistor to each set of 3. I generally place 18 small SMleds insde that strip. No fuse is necessary as it runs through your current thats is protected.
It takes time to do and learn. I have opened numerous headlights and have done many for others just depends with your taste and what your looking for.

Once you open up your headlights and the clearence piece you have room to work with inside there. Dremel is your friend, I used the dremel to cut off the orange amber piece then cut a similar size clear reflector to replace it.
