HELP!!!!! Metal Bracket holding 06 Projectors Ballast

Have a problem with my 06 projectors! Its doesnt have the bracket mounted underneath connecting to the ballast(refer to pic)! Is there a way to replace them or is there a solution for that? It seems that that bracket is needed to be able to complete a circuit and supply power to the bulbs!

Comparison between the 05 and 06 brackets:

Your immediate help is much appreciated! Thanks! :-)

Hmmm? That bracket is not necessary for anything. I am almost positive it is not on my 06 projectors.

Also, the circuit for the ballast is contained in the wires that plug into it.. the bracket is not part of the circuit :P

Isn't this the ground wire to be grounded to the housing of the car. Doesn't that metal bracket ground the BALLAST? It goes from the ballast to the cars frame for a reason.

One reason could be so that the bolt goes against the metal bracket instead of the plastic tab so that the tab doesn't break if someone over tightens the bolt. There's another metal bracket on the other lower tab that doesn't connect to anything. The one you're looking for is connected to the ballast just because that's the nearest screw.
But, if you think the light might be defective now without that bracket, then I'll give you $200 for it!

going off my memory from when i did the install a while ago the ground wire is bolted inside on the headlight somewhere from the ballast. see pic of green wire. that should be the ground . not on the outside on some bracket. correct me if im wrong

That green wire isn't even required for the lights to work. If your lights aren't working, check your connections and fuses. It isn't the bracket either.

Edit, just noticed this is a bumped 3 year old thread, lol.
