The 06 and up come stock like that!

If you can find someone that put clear lenses in theres they will have them laying around.

Or you can take some acetone<<think thats how you spell it and wipe the amber paint of the inside or dremel it out completely.

Yes they are painted black, the "blinker" lens is clear on stock projectors, if you have the 03-05 headlights you will need to dremel the orange plastic off.

the headlights above are a demon mod that is done.....the projector itself is not red. Its a light added inside the projector housing. stock 06-up headlights come with clear turn signal lens.

I dont think red would look good on your DG. I would do blue if I were you. The red looks good on black, white, red.

I did my 03-05 lights. I am not a professional by any stretch. I did this for the price of a few rattle cans and a few LED strips and 194 connectors from V-LEDs. Stupid easy and cheap, and they came out super clean. Everyone loves them, and thought they were professional which is all I could ask for.

I just opened up the lights, sprayed the matte black (matching the grille), fabricated an insert for the clearance strips including with the cheap a$$ LED strips spliced with the 194 connectors. Totally plug an play.

Day time pic below. Not bright like Audi or MB DRLs, but they light up pretty bright for cheap $9 LED strips!

Hey, thanks for the idea... I have a set of 03-05 disassembled headlights laying around. I guess I could do this and then sell them off...lol

Right on. Easy money. Sell them and score a few hundy to put toward a fresh set of projectors or something.
