The 03-05 blinkers suck... the whole thing is that amber plastic, they just chrome over it. I kept them amber, and retro'd my orange side markers with 7443 bulbs wired up to the blinkers. Now my side markers turn on and off with the parking lights, and blink in unison with the headlight when the blinkers are activated. I feel like the amber pops with the 6000k bulbs and LEDs in the clearance strip.

What size was the led ring you guys used for the iron man mod behind the projectors?

50mm? 60mm?

^Thanks man.

One more question, Do you know what size the ring needs to be in order to fit behind the signal lenses?

This is what the outcome should be once I'm done.

Most people who mode their projectors with different lense end up using the original in the turn signal

So pretty sure it's 2.5 your stock one will fit there perfectly.
I have a 2.5 installed in mine. However I have 04 retrofitted.

light questions

I did my diligent "search," and this is the the most closely related thread, so be patient, as I'm sure this is reduntant.
I just purchased an 05 Coupe, and feel the low beams, while bright white, aren't as good as they could be. Additionally, the high beams (yellowish), while adequate could also be better.
I have two questions: do my lights seem stock by my description, and what is the simplest way to improve the lighting?

Hey guys i'm pretty new on this site and i see you guys are discussing headlights for the G35 coupe. I have an 03 G35 sedan and iv'e looked on a few sites trying to find new headlights but all i see is for the coupe. Are these lights compatible with the sedan also? If not can someone please inform me on where i can get ones that are compatible with my sedan. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

The low beam on my 04 coupe (same as 05) was pretty decent. Not sure what's your expectation for a good headlight.
Few things you can do.
1- polish the headlights lense. 03-05 headlights are known to fading out/turning yellow which could effect the output quite a bit.
2- upgrade to 2006+ projector headlights. Day & night difference
3- retrofit projectors into your 05 housing. Tons of work. Might not be worth it to some people but it was to me.

Coupe headlight are NOT compatible with sedans.
Can you be more clear on what you're looking for?
Are you looking for better output? Or just a cosmetic change? Or is there anything wrong with your headlights to begin with?

A different look all together. I'm a little tired of the generic look.

Please only quote your reply. Is a bit confusing.
No idea on aftermarket headlights. Try doing a retro. You'll be much happier and satisfied.
