2006 HID Fog light conversion Quick question
I just ordered this kit from Diode Dynamics http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/i...rsion-kit.html

I just ordered the 4300k because I'm not a fan of the 3000K. My question is what's your recommendation the 4300K or 6000K. Keep in mind that I want to increase the output of the lights for better illumination on the road. I can still switch my order to 6000K but not sure if I should. I also added to Hylux ballast was that a good add on or not? I've never had HID' so I'm not to familiar with it, will it cause to much glare or is it fine for the 06 model. Any input would help. Thanks.

4300k is what the oem xenon headlights are..for best light output 4300k would be the best to get..6k puts out good lighting but is a tad bluer then 4300k..id never get anything more then 6k..8k and up is just too blue and ricer looking and light output just sucks

I'd stick with 4300k and change your fresnel lens to a clear lens. One of the best headlight mods I ever did.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but im about to take apart my 05 lights and want the strip on the side to light up like this one. What lights did he use for that? I know they sell them on ebay or is there somewhere else for them?

Not sure who you are talking to. This thread isn't for these headlight.

Regardless, as indicated in the image, these were made by http://www.180custom.com. Turns out, they didn't fold like so many others. They're are on the internets...
