HID Fog Lights Advice..
Hey everyone,
I purchased a black on black 07 g35 coupe not too long ago and I have decided I want to start changing some parts. I have been searching the posts quite extensively and havent been able to find any photos that can give u a clear picture of what hid fogs with stock projectors for the headlights look like.
Rather than asking everyone to post pics I am more interested in knowing a few things about getting HID fog lights:
1. Being an 07 coupe I have projectors for my headlights. I want to know from those of you who have hid fogs installed with the projector headlights if the fog lights overpower the look of the headlights because they are not in a projector? Can you visibly see both lights or is the light from the fog lights all you see?
2. Also I am planning on changing my Hid headlights to either 6000K or 8000K and am thinking of putting 3000K in the fogs. What do people think of this mixture being on a black car or do people think it would be better to get matching temperatures?
Thanks in advance for the replies and I know it is hard to tell in pics of exactly what it would look like but if anyone does have some clear pictures and would like to share them it is much appreciated. Thanks again.

Just like DEEZBLUBALLZ, I have 8k projector headlights and fog lights. The fog lights do not over power the look of the projectors. They look equal in emitting the same amount of light/power. I, too, suggest matching temps. Having 8k projectors with 3k fogs will look weird because they're in the same housing. The only way this will work and look good if you put external 3k fog lights under the grille. Just as everyone else has mentioned, just my opinion.

I've used kits from them before. Follow the link, and under the "Select Your Vehicles Bulb Below" tab, scroll to the H4/9003 Bi-xenon option. I used a different brand, and the only reason i am recommending this company is because the supplier i use is out of stock.

If your fog/hi housing says H4,HB2/ or 9003, you must install the H4 Bi-xenon hi/lo HID kit for full use of your fog, and hi beams, otherwise you'll lose functionality of one or the other if you just get a normal H4 HID kit.

If your car did not come factory with HIDs then you will have H1 bulbs for the low beams. Fogs and hi's will still be HB2, H4, or 9003. Here is a link for the list of the factory bulbs for your car.
