Replacing front lightbulbs on 2007 G35x Sedan

Hello, my name is Rui Nian and this is my first post on the G35 forums. Recently, my 2007 Infiniti G35x Sedan's right daylight bulb (small light close to the grill)burned out.. and it's only at 51K Kilometers..

For those of you that do not know what the daylight bulb is.. it is the light that automatically comes on when you start your car here in Canada. I understand that in the US, you guys dont have that.

But anyways, I am wondering on how to replace them. The only things I can find on this forum is how to replace the whole headlight which is a very "challenging" thing for me to do considering that I am only 17 years old. The manual tells me to go to a dealer, but I can tell that's gonna bite my wallet. My dad thinks he can repair the light since he always brags about being a senior chemical engineer and 1st class power engineer.. but to be honest, I don't trust him because none of his professions relate to automobile.

So I'm begging for someone to be kind enough to give me a step by step procedure on how to replace the lightbulb. Thank you.

Reply and quote from Infiniti. I do not believe this light is worth that much..

Hello

The parts is $191.76 and I have them in stock. The labour is $130.00 to replace it.

Let me know if you would like to set up an appointment.

It is the light on the bottom inner corner, closest to the grill.

Nope, it is the one right beside the grill. It is under the night xenon light right next the the infiniti grill.

It is the light beside the grill that is on the bottom. You can't really even see it because its so small and the dealer wants 191 dollars..
