Anything wrong with my Cutoff/Headlight?

Just bought the V2 headlights from strafe and installed them on 05 coupe. How should my cutoffs/headlights look like? are these aimed wrong? too high? crooked?

Its just that when I'm driving, the right side looks a lot further than the right side and the far middle seems not lit up.

Your driver side looks slightly higher. Look at what a correct cut off looks like. The "Z" should be aligned and the center makes a parallelogram

Crappy picture but look at the shape in the center and both "Z" are at the same level

Edit: Also follow correct aiming procedures. You need to measure the distance from floor to projector and that is how high your cut off should be. Then make sure you are 25ft away from a wall when you are aiming. Look it up I doubt strafe gives you proper procedures according to NHTSA or DOT standards.

Thanks for the replies. Does it matter that I still have the same D2R bulbs that came with the car 7 years ago? Do they get dimmer or do they just go out all the way when its time to replace them? Lol cuz 7 years is a long time for bulbs to still keep working.

Thank you.

Exactly I would start off with fresh bulbs as the older they get they tend to turn yellow and light intensity is not at its peak. I would look for new Phillips bulbs 85122+ and see if they will work for your setup. You can get them from matt at retrofit source or look on HID PLANET.

Edit: Also you can try this ballast and bulb setup if you want brighter but please aim them correct and point them down a little for others sake. 55w ballast versus 35w ballast that you have. You can ship me your old ballast and I will provide you a prepaid label

Will I need D2R bulbs as thats whats on the car right now? Or Am I supposed to have D2S Bulbs since I put in aftermarket projectors?

I know D2S are meant for 06 and up cars and I have a 2005 coupe, But I did go from stock headlights to these aftermarket projectors.

Thanks once again.

Start with new bulbs D2S's but ya, that cutoff isn't the greatest but it's probably the AM lights.

Also, I may be retarded but, when installing the bulb does the thin stick part of the bulb go inside the headlight facing up or facing down. I cant recall how I took them off and now I'm questioning myself if its possible to make this mistake and put the bulb in backwards. LOL.

Thanks.
