As you all know, the sedan doesn't get that nice easy setup the coupe does, and to make it more difficult on myself, I chose to put the FX-R's into the top, preserving the H4 halogens in the lower bay. The G37-R shrouds I purchased went totally unused, due to space constraints; I kept the factory ballasts. Bulbs are 85122+. The project took parts of four days, totaling around 30 hours.

Before, low beams, about 50 feet, through the windshield.

Final bracket design, right headlight.

Final bracket design, right headlight.

Reflector cut to fit, left headlight.

Bezel just before cutting, left headlight.

They're hard to see, but there are two small acrylic wings attached to the projector at left and right, painted metallic silver. These hide the screws, brackets, and back of the capsule from easy viewing at the front.

An overhead view of the right headlight. No shroud looks fine IMO, because the FX-R lens has a chrome ring.

Cutoff, about fifty feet, same lot as before. The lot is not perfectly level, so don't mind the slope. Picture taken from alongside the left front fender.

Same as above picture, except picture taken at 6-8 feet.

High beams. FX-R at high, plus the H4 bulbs at high.

I couldn't figure out a way to fit one in there, there's so little space above and below the projector.Originally Posted by IvoryGT

I know it's scary but you'd have to cut into the stock housing and flush mount it.

They look FANTASTIC!!!! Its funny on other forums they use G35 projectors for better light, but here we use FXR. Just interesting.

The two projectors have virtually same optics. Unless it's a G37 projector with better reflective bowl design. The output are the same for the G35 and FX (R)

Wait, so if the output for the G35 and the FX (R) are basically the same then what is the point of doing the retro fit? Might be a stupid question, but I am fairly new here.

He did this retrofit because 03-06 Sedans don't come with OEM projectors.

Okay that makes complete sense. I just assumed all G35's came with the projectors, and when they said they are basically the same as G35 projectors I got thrown off.

^ Marcus speaks troof!
Retrofit came out great. A shroud would add that final touch of completness but those don't look to bad as is either.
