I want to have sex with your cluster. Can you carve out an appropriately sized hole and fit it with led's too?

What brand/model of controller is that above?

And your odometer LCD seems to be unchanged, but I see an LED in the "off" pics. Plan on doing that too?

Yes, but not to the whole, hole, thing
the LED you see there is actually a White LED I put in, but I forgot about the tinted piece that sits behind the screen. Need to pop it back apart to adjust a couple items that's one of them.

ill check the brand

Awesome work bro. This module and your work here has definitely inspired me to get back to led work.

For the cluster, are you using a separate LED controller for the needs than the background?

The needles are illuminated by a separate 5050 RGB SMD, but they're all wired together.

The trick with them is a different resistance, which offsets the colour just a bit from the rest of the lighting.

It's something I came about by acciden't but it does look pretty sick. The problem, if there will be one, is that the window switches, all my cig lighter, audio, etc will be/has been done with these same individual 5050's......

that means that my LCD lens, clock, footwell lighting, and gauges will be different colours than the rest of the car. This doesn't work for me so I may have to play with the resistances a bit more on those other components.

It looks amazing on the Gauge needles, but I don't want it in the rest of hte car....
Another hurdle in this in-depth modification...

So that new 18a controller can't handle everything? I was thinking one would be enough to handle plenty of led's for the whole car?

Thanks dude. I'ts crazy to be the first to do this, trying to be humble about it but it's pretty freakin cool.

I need to test the window switches, they're ready to go, but I"m doing everything in Plug & Play, so I just have to hook the plugs up to them before I get them going.

And yeah, that controller will handle much more then I"ll ever have on it, even the old one I had was more than enough, it was just a cheap Ebay POS, so I got a better one (the most recent one)

Awesome work, great idea with the new cluster face. What's the new controller unit you ended up using? How did you end up changing the driver side switch setup so it's brighter? Keep up the good work!

Master switch and passenger switch done.

Tookt he LCD screen/cover out, wasn't happy with it, will be re-doing it whenever I get to it. Needs to be done much better, and so it will be done.

Man, that audio unit is going to look sweeeeeet when I get to it.
