Interior light question

I have a 05 coupe I just bought and im changing out all my interior lights to led's. After I changed the map light's when the door is closed the do not turn off all the way. You can still see a faint glow of the lights. They will turn all the way off if I flip the switch from "door" to the "off" position. Does this mean I have a short somewhere?

Also

My trunk light will not come on and I know the bulbs are good. All other lights are good so far.

LEDs require such little current they stay glowing even when they're supposed to be off. You get used to it and it won't drain your battery or anything like that. And like he said flip the bulb around that's probably your issue

Incorrect. It's constantly on because the dome light uses a neg trigger so the positive side is constantly drawing power.something like that

Close. In our cars even when the switch is off a small amount of current is still flowing. This current isn't enough to illuminate a standard lightbulb but it is enough to make an led bulb glow because led bulbs require much less current to illuminate. So again please explain how I was incorrect in any way?

Just a up date. I turned the bulbs around and still having the same issue. I just worry about burning the led's out prematurely.
