so i am trying to tap into the dome lights, not the switch but when doors are unlocked, door opened yada yada. trying to tap into the bcm and looked through other threads and also the fsm but have not had any luck

pg 151 has the wiring layout but for 48, it is the opposite of what I need, it is 0 v when dome light is on and battery voltage after the map lights turn off. anyone have any info? looked through other threads but no one had a specific pin to tap, just bcm as a general idea

Isn't that wire tied into the door lock unlock to tell the dome light to turn on and off?.

 

oh. hmm is it? i just tapped the switched ground for the dome lights that is connected at the bcm. it does not get affected by the actual light switch

 

based on the wiring diagram. the one for door open / close is the left one of the purple wire that is tapped for the dome. gunna test it to make sure before i start crimping and splicing

 

dont the door accent lights light up with the dome light? Would be super easy to just tap into that wire

 

the door puddle lights light up with the dome light and not with door open trigger? i was going to use this one next to the map light output
