Red face How are side-markers Mounted?

Hello sorry, this is my first post. I've read toooons on here and gotten lots of technical advice. I bought my G (sedan rwd) a few years back and focused mostly on mechanical issues before anything cosmetic. Someone did a hit and run on my car so now I have an excuse to paint and fix it up.
When I bought the car the bumper was a little sad looking and had no side marker lights. There was on the drives side a piece of bent aluminium for the side-marker to clip onto. I bought a set and after a 5k drive to work they were gonezo. I've gotten new harnesses for them but have no idea how they are supposed to be mounted in there. I know I could use some 3m double sided tape but then it's a pita to change the bulbs. Could someone take a picture of what it looks like with the side marker off?
Thanks everybody

They just snap in. It's really simple setup and not perfect. Numerous reports of them just disappearing if you live in a bumpy place. Sticky tape as a supplement might not be a bad idea.
