Wanting to buy Spec-D headlights, opinions?

So I recently purchased a 07 coupe G35, the car came with stock headlights which I restored inorder for them to look good, but after a week, I decided I wanted to have the famous dual rings, the link to the headlights I found is this: https://www.carid.com/2007-infiniti-g35-headlights/spec-d-halo-led-projector-headlights-284662262.html
On this note I wanted to ask you guys about your opinions and feedback about such headlights coming from carid, how cheap/trusty are they?
Cheers 😇😇

No.

Their output is awful, a huge downgrade from stock. You will also look like a huge ricer. Angel eyes only belong around projectors. Retrofit or stay stock!

Heya thanks for the reply, as I understand its a big no go for the carid lights, I've already looked up the "making myself" process and I wasn't feeling comfy opening my headlights myself, but since I don't have a second choice might as well I guess, could you please give me a hint and indicate what materials would I need to buy inorder to accomplish the installation "myself"?

Thank you once again!

Those lights will yellow in around a year, I would highly recommend you stick with OEM and get them restored by a professional. Call body shops around you.

If you can't afford a retrofit, you probably shouldn't be running the dual ring set up until you can afford to bud. See the links I provided for quality aftermarket options. Do you really want to be the guy in the room with the popped collar and frosted tips in 2017?

Thank you for the feedback!! As I kept reading around I realized that retrofit is the way to go, why I tries avoiding it is because this is my daily driver, installing retrofits on the G35 will cause me to be car less for 2-3 weeks (for shipping the lights to the states, b/c no one does this here in Montreal, Canada) and I cannot be without a car for this amount of time!

I bought these headlights back in January. The install was not very difficult as it's pretty straight forward. They have video tutorials online which helped me throughout the install.

Output it better than my old headlights and it makes the car look so much more aggressive. Just don't forget to aim them if you do get them.

About 5 months in and they look just they did when I got them.

I have a front set of eyelids coming this week so it's gonna look great! Imo

You are missing the Lambo doors and GTR front bumper though.

Not only that but the eyelids are going to cover the inner LEDs. Heaven help you if they cover 1-1/2 of them. It's just going to be awkward no matter where they end up.

Sorry to be so harsh but rice+LOL=2Xfail. That **** belongs on a Honda, not a G35 IMO but to each their own I suppose.........FPFQ at it's finest people.
