Removing the DRL control unit

Hi guys,

I have an issue with the passenger-side Daytime Running Light on my '03 G35 coupe and I've isolated it to a possible desoldered connection within the DRL control unit (when I tap it, the light flickers back on). I want to check if there are any suggestions on how to remove the DRL control unit from the engine bay. I tried doing it this weekend but the damn thing seems wedged in - I don't see any screws or anything, just a metallic insert that I seem to have to disconnect (aside from the cables).

I pulled on it pretty hard and I'm a little afraid of breaking/bending anything so, wanted to open it up to the Internet before I decide to really tug on that thing. Any ideas?
