My HID matching foglights! **PICS**

First, here is a picture of the stock HID setup. C'mon, who are we kidding... the stock HIDs setup is embarassing.

And here are my 6000k dual HID setup! Xetronic 6000k lows and fogs!

Now another question that will pop up is... Silverbolt, since you have 6000k, do you lose any light output? Hows the visibility? Does it light up the street well? A picture is worth a thousand words

Here are some pictures the day after, when my LEDs came in. I bought them from superbrightled.com (I think thats the website). THere was a review on them here in the forums, and it had great reviews. It was reviewed as second to teras! Here are the pictures... btw, they arent as blue in person... but I still think they're too blue...

I'm going to do a full LED strip that runs all the way down. Theres an Audi TT down the street that has a full LED setup in his headlights, and I cant let him be better than me! haha!

Thanks!

btw, my car was only 4 days old in the first few pictures, and 5 days old when I added the LEDs. I was supposed to have my bodykit and rims on in a few days, but I ran into complications I want to be done with the majority of my car before my license plates come in! haha!

Well, theyr'e called Xetronic, but I think there was recently a name change to Alpha. I dont know where you can get them online. I got mine from a hook-up I have with a wholesale distributor. Its a personal hookup, so I can only buy stuff for my car.

They come with a lifetime warranty, and are advertise to be completely water proof! There was a video on their website where they had the HID kit running, and they dunked it into a big fish tank with goldfish inside!

Wow, that's incredibly nice. How did you wire it up? You've got 2 SETS(4indv) of ballasts and where do you put all those wires? This seems like a cool and classy mod to do.

What happens to "highbeam" functionality? I'm talking about when you actually press on the stalk to switch to highbeam.

So are both the fogs and the headlamps HID? Or is the fog just a superwhite regular bulb?

Awesome, I've been looking for a match for my 6000K's. Now, if we can just figure out how to buy them (no hookup for me ). Hey, which LED bulb did you use from superbrightleds.com? I think Finiti35 was using the 9 LED bulbs in her clearance. Is that what you used?

I also used the 9LED one. I emailed them, and they said that the blue'ish color is normal and to send it back and buy the 6LED because they're less blue and more white. I'm just going to keep them since they're brighter.

I could have bought bixenon HIDs, but they're too expensive... especially when I dont use my high beams. It was a little tricky to fit in the ballast and igniter, but I fit them in under the headlight housing.... right behind the bumper reinforcment bar.

When I switch my highbeams on, my fogs turn off,and theres no light. For sure, I wont need high beams... c'mon, I have 4 individual HID bulbs lighting the ground on fire! haha!

That my friend is really nice! I really like this. I dunno y. I wouldn't care about highbeam functionality either IMO. I bet the "cool factor" is high! Imagine 4 HIDS while driving. IT reminds me of Q45 lights. Just the fact that's it's really different.

How do you wire it up?

I had an H3 HID conversion kit on my other car. I just swapped over the ballast and igniter and bought an H4 HID bulb.

OEM H4 plug > ballast/igniter kit > H4 HID bulb
